I was in Phoenix for a business convention recently and stayed at the Hyatt Place in downtown Phoenix. While this was not the closest hotel to the conference, the walking distance was minimal. I have been in downtown hotels before but …

Clean rooms, awesome breakfast bar! Good coffee, real eggs!!! And get this... tortillas! I don't know about you but I have a need for breakfast tacos or burritos. All is included in the price. Parking across the street instead of the hotel was much more affordable. Great location.

Hotel is within walking distance to a lot of dining options. Parking is steep $$. We did better with a parking meter besides the hassle of keeping track. We had our dog with us, not a lot of grass options. The hotel is dog friendly, but their dog area is a little lacking due to it's Dirt and rocks. We were within walking distance to Chase Field. Also, another bummer was no swimming pool. The great thing was the service. The employees were always friendly. Breakfast is included, and Sunflower 🌻 is the breakfast attendant and has a genuine kind personality. Always making sure you have what you need. She goes above, and beyond. Amazing lady. I hope Hyatt Place realizes how great she is.

This is a very nice hotel. Loved that it's new and very clean. Staff are super friendly especially front desk and Valet. The restaurant in the hotel is delicious. Only downsides: no pool, no guest laundry and no microwave in rooms.

Great hotel close to restaurants and a happy, welcoming staff. Beds were comfy and room spacious and clean. The breakfast was top notch and Olga made sure we had all we needed. Would definitely stay again.

An overall solid and reasonably-priced hotel that is convenient to downtown Phoenix and the convention center. Easy access to most areas downtown. At the hotel, service was great and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was solid and well-stocked each morning. One small consideration - if you select a (non-view) room, the interior of the hotel faces a loading dock where trucks may come early-ish in the morning. This did not significantly affect our stay, but something to consider if you are a lighter sleeper.

I booked this hotel due to its centralized location downtown, it’s large rooms that come with a desk and sitting area (and unexpected bonus, a clothes steamer), the included breakfast and it’s affordability. It met all my expectations. Self service Breakfast generally consisted of cage free scrambled eggs, a meat, a carb of choice (waffles one day), pastries, whole fruit, juice, coffee and tea. The staff were really nice as well from the housekeeping to the front desk. I would definitely stay here again.

Visited Phoenix for a conference. Staying at the Hyatt place was the perfect choice. Close proximity to the convention center and many diverse food options near the hotel. The area feels safe to walk around in even at night. Quiet surroundings.
